Profile of Dr. Earl Scime

Our Mountain State Science series continues on This Week in West Virginia with a profile of Dr. Earl Scime, Chair of the WVU Physics Department.

As a physicist Dr. Scime's world includes plasmas, thermonuclear reactions and a 150-lb robot named Marvin.

Scime is the Eberly Distinguished Professor of Physics at West Virginia University, but once a week he can be found with a group of inquisitive and motivated high school students who are members of the Mountaineer Area Robotics Team, a group Scime founded.
