November 1, 2012 · Randolph County has had its fair share of outage problems since the storm passed through earlier this week. These problems have kept classes cancelled at Davis and Elkins college.

Most of the students have left the Davis and Elkins campus, according to the school’s Associate Vice President of Communications.

The school says it will provide a 48 hour notice in advance, before classes resume.

Employees are encouraged to stay home as the campus continues to be cleared of snow.

Parts of Elkins still don’t have power, three days after the storm started passing through.

Nearly 10,000 customers in Randolph County don’t have power as of Thursday afternoon, according to First Energy.
