Early voting begins

October 23, 2012 · Early Voting for the general election begins Tuesday at county courthouses and courthouse annexes across the state and will run through November 3.

 

Early voting for the general election begins at county courthouses and courthouse annexes across the state and will run through November 3.

According to a news release from the Secretary of State’s Office the early voting period includes two Saturdays, October 27 and November 3.

The release says about 250,000 people, or 22 percent of voters cast ballots during early voting in the 2008 election.

Information about early voting is available at each county clerk’s office and on the Secretary of State’s web site.
