September 21, 2012 · Parkersburg police say a woman's body was found in the trunk of a vehicle at a car wash.

Sgt. Greg Collins says police received a call at about 8 o'clock last night about an unattended car in a washing bay. When a police officer popped the vehicle's trunk, he discovered the body.

This morning, police identified the victim as 25-year-old Brandy Marie Adams of Parkersburg. Her body was being sent to Charleston for autopsy.

Police did not release information on the make or model of the vehicle. Police are not sure how long it had been in the car wash.

Collins says several law enforcement agencies are investigating.
