Mountain Stage is also thrilled to announce that white-hot band
Vintage
Trouble will be there. Founded in Hollywood, California, by vocalist Ty Taylor
and guitarist Nalle Colt, the group’s fusion of rock and soul prompted
music legend Booker T. Jones to declare, “The only thing troubling about
Vintage Trouble is how authentic they are so early in the game.”
Vintage
trouble has worked with Queen guitarist Brian May, toured with Bon
Jovi, and played Paul Stanley’s 60th birthday bash (again, with the KISS
connections). They’re slated to open for the Dave Matthews Band in
April, and are currently on the road in support of bona fide rock n’
roll legends The Who.
We’ll also be joined on the 17th by
accomplished singer-songwriter
Steve Forbert, and the cinematic pop band
Milo Greene. Tickets for this show are available right now, online via
ticketmaster, by phone (304.293.SHOW) and in person at the CAC box office.
And
Mountain Stage will be back in Morgantown on April 21, when we’ll
welcome acclaimed singer-songwriters
Billy Brag,
Joe Pug, and the wildly
influential Americana pioneers
The Flatlanders. You can get your
tickets for this show right now by visiting
ticketmaster.
And
music lovers in Charleston may already know that on March 24, Mountain
Stage will once again host the great
Loudon Wainwright III. What can we
possibly say about Loudon, other than that among singer-songwriters who
work night after night with only their voice and a guitar, his ability
to captivate an audience has no peer.
And in just 3 weeks, we’ll
be at the Culture Center Theater once more for a show featuring
Jim
Lauderdale and Buddy Miller, with material from their new collaboration
Buddy & Jim. Tickets for both of these Charleston shows are on sale
right now,
online, by phone (800.594.TIXX) and in person at Taylor Books.
