soldout

This week’s live Mountain Stage show is sold out.

If extra tickets become available – and a few always do – they’ll be placed on sale at the door beginning at 5 o’clock.

Rich Robinson, appearing live on Mountain Stage this Sunday

We’re thrilled to be welcoming Rich Robinson (as it turns out, “of The Black Crowes” isn’t actually part of his name), revered Canadian band (and long-time Mountain Stage favorites) the Cowboy Junkies, singer/songwriter Anais Mitchell, and Australian institution Paul Kelly. This is our last show in Charleston for a while, so we look forward to seeing you there.

Next week we’re back on the road in Bristol TN/VA for a show with our friends from the Birthplace of Country Music Alliance.

Go see some live music!

I thought that the Cowboy Junkies should have given Rich Robinson lessons on how to rage and not be distorted.

At no time even during their more dissonant numbers were you unable to hear what Margo Timmins was singing.

However both Rich Robinson and even Paul Kelley were unable to achieve this and it was hard to hear what Chris Robinson was singing his whole set, and also somewhat hard to follow Paul Kelly when he brought in the electric guitar.

Anais Mitchell was fantastic as well very clear vocals and band.

I would have had the lineup as Paul Kelley then Rich Robinson and then Anais Mitchell and Cowboy Junkies closing out since those 2 were the best and also the most clear sonically.
