Thanks to everyone who came to see us record episode #708 last Sunday. We're back at the Culture Center Theater here in Charleston again this Sunday, November 15 with another all-star show, starting at 7pm. Mountain Stage welcomes Sister Hazel for the first time, and we look forward to seeing a good friend, Eric Bibb, again. Brett Dennen was with us once before and two more new comers to our stage, Madison Violet and a sure-fire party-starters, Vagabond Opera, will be with us. Below is the latest in our "Backstage at Mountain Stage" web series, featuring an interview and live performance by Yo La Tengo. The group appeared on our show 18 years ago and returned in 2009 to play songs from their latest CD, Popular Songs. They took a few minutes to speak with Larry Groce in Morgantown, WV.
