This weekend Mountain Stage brings a very special Mountain Stage taping to the
Clay Center for the arts and sciences as part of the 4th Annual
FestivALL Charleston.
Larry Groce, Mountain Stage's host and artistic director, also serves as the Exectutive Director for FestivALL, which began four years ago as an arts and culture showcase spanning four days. "All the Arts, All over Town," served as a fitting slogan.
This year it has expanded to 10 (!) days of public art, dance, theater and music. In its short life, FestivALL has gained valuable brand recognition and groups from all over the state have approached us about getting involved. Three short years ago, Mountain Stage celebrated it's 600th show with an appearance by
Nickel Creek. This year we have a star studded Americana style show to mark our 675th taping (does anyone use
tape anymore?). Jakob Dylan, of Wallflowers and, well,
DYLAN fame, is bringing his new band the Gold Mountain Rebels to the show for a sampling of his upcoming solo record "
Seeing Things," produced by
Rick Rubin. Click

Tickets are still on sale
