This Friday, the Wheeling Symphony’s final concert of the 2010-2011 season focuses on themes of life and death, in music by Richard Strauss (Four Last Songs), Jean Sibelius (The Swan of Tuonela), and Gustav Mahler (Symphony No. 1).It also wraps up a season that has focused on Gustav Mahler, marking the years of both his birth and death.
