The Drive By Truckers on Mountain Stage

This weekend's radio broadcast features the acclaimed southern-gothic rockers from Athens, Ga the Drive By Truckers , Austin, TX string-band newcomers The Belleville Outfit, indie-pop trio The Spring Standards, the chronically sleep-deprived Steve Poltz and roots trio Sometymes Why. You're gonna dig the Trucker's version of Spooner Oldham/Freddie Weller's song "Lonley Women Make Good Lovers," sung by Shonna Tucker.

Tune in to hear Steve Poltz (above) tell the hilarious story about how he came to write "You Were Meant For Me," the monster hit for Jewel.

More on that iPhone he's holding next week.
