The Grammy Nominees were announced last night - with much fanfare - so we'd like to recognize some of our recent Mountain Stage guests who got noms.

We'll put links to hear their performance on our show plus a link to purchase their music on Amazon. Keep in mind if you follow the provided links and make a purchase then a small percentage of what you spend is donated to WV Public Broadcasting at no extra charge. So do some holiday shopping and contribute at the same time). Our congratulations to all nominees.Winners will be announced Jan. 31 on CBS.

PeterBradleyAdams-2010
Peter Bradley Adams

We've added one more show to our 2010 Live Show Schedule .

Sunday March 28 at the Culture Center Theater, 7pm. Our first announced guest will be Peter Bradley Adams who was last with us in July of 2008. (Find that Show in our ARCHIVES) His latest CD "Traces" can be found on Amazon (portion of your purchase goes to WV Public Broadcasting if you use our link to purchase).

His music has been all over television lately, including "One Tree Hill" And "The Mentalist." Adams was a member of eastmountainsouth before embarking on his solo career with 2008's Leavetaking, a beautiful, well made record featuring his musky, soft spoken voice.

Tickets will be available online, by calling 800.594.TIXX and at Taylor Books in Downtown, Charleston.

Here's something we found while browsing YouTube. It's a performance by Jorma Kaukonen and David Bromberg, recorded in Chicago in 1986. If you dig this, there are several others here on YouTube.

Keep Your Lamp Trimmed and Burning

The illustrious duo will join us in Morgantown, WV on January 17 at the WVU Creative Arts Center.

Tickets are available HERE or by calling 304.293.SHOW. Other guests will be Mark O'Connor's Hot Swing, sub pop recording artists Vetiver, Among the Oak & Ash (featuring Josh Joplin and Garrison Starr).
