We're gearing up to record another episode this Sunday in Charleston at the Culture Center Theater. Show-time is 7pm and our guests will be Mike Doughty, Diane Birch, Langhorne Slim, Dala and Dawes.

Tickets are still available online and at Taylor Books in downtown Charleston. Come see us before you can hear it on the radio!

Read an article in the Charleston Gazette on Mike Doughty and check out the video below for his beloved tune, "Looking at the World From the Bottom of a Well."

This weekend's radio show was recorded in Huntington, WV at the Create WV conference. Our guests were WV native and country music star Kathy Mattea, San Francisco rockers Or, the Whale, NC roots music luminary Shannon Whitworth and her band, as well as two distinctly different Appalachian groups, the Songcatchers, led by Dr. Everett Lilly, and The Ahs, a cello/banjo duo based out of Hinton, WV.

Click HERE for a playlist and head over to our Song of the Week page to hear a preview, featuring Kathy Mattea singing a Jean Ritchie classic spiritual. Click HERE to find a station in your area and be sure to tell some friends! You can tune in via the WV Public Broadcasting stream this Sunday at 3pm to hear the show.

Our live shows are quickly coming together for 2010. January 17 we'll be in Morgantown, WV with Mark O'Connor's Hot Swing Trio, a special duo performance by Jorma Kaukonen and David Bromberg, and indie-rockers Vetiver. We've just added another intriguing duo, Josh Joplin and Garrison Starr, performing under the moniker Among the Oak & Ash.

They've been hitting the road with A Fine Frenzy as of late. Here's a video of their song "Oh Sarah Don't You Weep." We'll let you know when tickets are on sale for this Morgantown show.
