This Just In - We've got a very special show coming to Charleston on April 22. We've got the beautiful and talented alternative singer (and current PASTE cover star) Neko Case in a special venue: The Little Theater at the Charleston Civic Center, on a special night, Wednesday April 22.

You can get a free download of "People Got a Lotta Nerve," the first single from her upcoming CD "Middle Cylcone," due out March 3, on the ANTI records Web site. Here's a seven minute preview of the record on YouTube.

New Feature on West Virginia Morning – "Mountain Stage® Song of the Week"

Broadcast date: Fridays at 7:30 a.m. on West Virginia Public Radio

Charleston, W.Va. – January 21, 2009 – West Virginia Public Radio’s daily news program West Virginia Morning begins a new feature this Friday called "Mountain Stage® Song of the Week."

During the program, a song from the upcoming radio broadcast of Mountain Stage® will be featured. The song will also be available for listening or download on the West Virginia Public Broadcasting Web site through the week on both the news page and the Mountain Stage® page. "We're modeling this on the very successful "Song of the Day" on NPR's Web site. We want to help showcase Mountain Stage’s amazing repertoire on both the radio and the Internet," said Scott Finn, news and public affairs director for West Virginia Public Broadcasting.

"Mountain Stage is very excited about being featured on West Virginia Morning," said Larry Groce, host and artistic director of Mountain Stage. "We hope to introduce listeners to new music and artists and reacquaint some listeners to old favorites."

Mountain Stage® can be heard each Sunday at 3 p.m. on West Virginia Public Radio. This week’s broadcast includes Jose GonzalezNellie McKay17 HippieseverybodyfieldsMia Doi Todd and Julia Douglass.

Now in its 25th year, Mountain Stage® continues to be a one-of-a-kind radio program using live performances showcasing a mixture of musical styles and cultures through well-known and about-to-be-known artists from around the world. The show is one of the longest running live music performance shows on public radio and is distributed nationally by National Public Radio (NPR)
