Dennis Adkins
Executive Director
As chief executive officer of the organization, Dennis is responsible for planning, developing, constructing and operating statewide public radio and television networks.

 

Bill Acker
Director of Broadcasting & Technology
Bill is the chief operating officer for the television network and the director of technical operations for television and radio.

 

Richard Carter
Director of Television Production
Rich manages the staff and resources for programs produced by West Virginia PBS including The Law Works, Doctors on Call, Homework Hotline, and The Legislature Today. The director also oversees the creative and production process for ideas for new shows, documentaries and other news and public affairs programs.

 

Marilyn DiVita
Director of Development
Marilyn is the chief development officer for public broadcasting. She implements and manages all development strategies for television and radio in compliance with federal, state and industry legal and ethical guidelines. Her responsibilities include personnel, resource and fiscal management of the development department. She also serves as a representative to the community.

 

John Hingsbergen
Director of News and Public Affairs
John is responsible for all news and public affairs programming for West Virginia Public Broadcasting. This includes content, format and editorial direction of programs as well as integration of staff and resources to produce programming that is consistent with the mission of the organization and the principles of good journalism.

 

Craig Lanham
Director of Programming & Operations
Craig administers and supervises the television program/operations department with overall responsibility for the statewide program schedule on West Virginia PBS. This includes purchasing programs, advising on the content of local productions, and procuring and maintaining broadcast rights.

 

Michael L. Meador
Director of Finance
As the chief fiscal officer for West Virginia Public Broadcasting, Mike is responsible for managing all funds of the organization.

 

James Muhammad
Director of Radio Services
James administers and supervises the radio program/operations department with overall responsibility for the statewide program schedule on West Virginia Public Radio. This includes purchasing programs, advising on the content of local productions, and procuring and maintaining broadcast rights.

 

Shawn Patterson
Director of Marketing
Shawn manages all image-related activities for West Virginia Public Broadcasting as a whole and for West Virginia Public Radio, West Virginia PBS, the Web site and outreach, as well as the Educational Broadcasting Authority. This department also supports all of the other departments in maintaining a consistent, professional public image for the organization.

 

Jack Wells
Director of Engineering
Jack manages the engineering department, responsible for the design, installation, maintenance and associated requirements of the equipment and systems for television and radio production and broadcast. He is also Morgantown site manager.

Peggy Dorsey
Individual Giving Manager
Peggy manages and directs all membership services for West Virginia Public Broadcasting. She coordinates our direct mail, telemarketing and on-air campaigns. Her department is also responsible for the membership databases and preparing analyses and reports.

 

Jane Siers
Development Associate
As development associate, Jane is responsible for soliciting financial support for West Virginia Public Broadcasting. This includes generating sponsorship revenues and maintaining corporate relationships.

 

Mike Caruso

Development Associate
Headquartered in Morgantown, Mike is responsible for soliciting financial support for West Virginia Public Broadcasting. This includes generating sponsorship revenues and maintaining corporate relationships.
